ARE THERE OTHER SCHOOLS LIKE CONCORDIA LEARNING CENTER'S?

While we of course believe that Concordia Learning Center's is unique and unlike any other school of its kind in the country, we are the only school specifically serving visually impaired and multiply disabled students in the State of New Jersey. However, many such students, depending on the severity of their disabilities or availability of local resources, attend regular neighborhood schools. There they usually receive some instruction from special teachers for the disabled and/or visually impaired in addition to the core curriculum classes.

Many of Concordia Learning Center's students also make the transition to regular schools following participation in our Early Intervention, Pre-School, Academic Education, and Independence Programs. Those who do not, often remain at Concordia Learning Center's and participate in our Pre-Vocational Program which lays the foundation for future independence and employment.
