Most days the main hall of St. Joseph's buzzes with special activities—gymnastics, dancing, singing, concerts, musical instrument practice, orientation and mobility classes, and special exercises linked to physical, occupational and speech therapy. Often there are rehearsals for upcoming seasonal or national celebrations such as our Spring Festival, St. Patrick's Day, Field Day, Arts Festival, and Thanksgiving. Parents who visit and participate in these activities quickly find themselves drawn into the fun, fury and excitement of all this creative energy.

Although the emphasis at St. Joseph's is always on academic education, we believe that our special events calendar greatly contributes to our students’ abilities to socialize, share, cooperate, learn from each other, and stretch the boundaries of personal and mutual achievement. Just watch the faces of our students when the applause comes…you'll know exactly what we mean.
