Walk-a-thon 2010

Our Third Annual Walk-a-thon was held on May 28 in Pershing Field Park in Jersey City. Thank you for your support!

Kevin Rivera	Omar Tzic	Zyshon Goldsmith

All three students entered the Braille Readers Are Leaders contest 2009-2010 of the National Federation of the Blind. Kevin Rivera, and Zyshon Goldsmith read more than 500 pages, and Omar Tzic read more than 1000 pages. Omar Tzic won the Community Awards and won a full paid trip to attend the NFB conference in July, 2010!

Justin Martin and his younger sister Jade, personally delivered 62 bears to students here at Concordia.
	Through his charity, The Justin Charity Bear Fund, Justin has donated bears to children in hospitals, shelters and in low income areas throughout New Jersey.
