POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT:
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

St. Joseph's School for the Blind is seeking an experienced professional to assume overall responsibility for the administration and management of the school.

Major responsibilities are in the areas of:
- Program Management
- Fundraising/Community Relations
- Financial Management
- Strategic Planning
- Facility Management

Relevant education, professional experience, and eligibility for New Jersey certification are required.

TEACHER OF STUDENTS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENT

St. Joseph's School for the Blind is searching for a TVI with interest working in our Early Intervention Program and/or School Program. Full and part-time positions available.

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include a BA and state licensure eligibility as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities, TVI preferred, and ability to work with Multi-Disabled Blind & Visually Impaired students.


ORIENTATION AND MOBILITY INSTRUCTOR

St. Joseph's School for the Blind is searching for AER/ACVREP Orientation and Mobility instructors with interest in our Early Intervention Program and/or School Program. Full and part-time positions available

Qualifications: Proper certification and ability to work with Multi-Disabled Blind & Visually Impaired students


DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

St. Joseph's School for the Blind is searching for a Director of Development for this full-time position to manage all foundation, corporate foundation and government agency grant activities working in concert with other development areas. Candidate will be responsible for developing a strategic plan for the program, development of a planned giving marketing program and management of foundation and corporate fund raising including addressing areas such as special events, grants and major gifts.

Qualifications: Ideal candidate must be energetic, proactive, experienced and have a BA and a minimum of four years experience in non-profit fund raising. Position requires strong organizational skills, excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
