HOW CAN STUDENTS
"LEARN TO BE ALL THEY CAN BE?"
The features that make our school unique are: the
special skills of our large, multi-cultural, certified team of teachers,
therapists, and teacher aides; the determination of our students to
learn; the commitment of our students’ family members to work
in close partnership with the education team and to share their concerns,
hopes and dreams; and the guidance and contributions of the local school
districts in ensuring students receive the most appropriate education
for children with vision impairments and other disabilities in the State
of New Jersey.
In addition, we prepare our students for the challenging world
of community living, employment and personal independence in
our state-of-the-art residential facility, Concordia House. And if there
is indeed a ‘secret,’ it lies in the individual spirit of
each of our students who are continually stretching their own boundaries
of possibilities and “becoming all they can be.”
